IIGM Electrical division started in 2005 in collaboration with EAE Elektrik from Turkey, so as to address the specific demand from the apparel and textile industry in India for a more robust and at the same time, a more flexible system for power distribution on the production floor. The trend in the industry at that time was to replace Conventional Cables with Busbar Trunking or Busducts, so as to address the need for a more secure (fire resistant / higher short circuit levels) mode of power distribution.
Furthermore, the modular nature of EAE busbars gave the flexibility to the manufacturers to shift their busbars, as per the varying requirements on the production floor using flexible manufacturing techniques (such as lean manufacturing) and modern power transmission.
The IIGM - EAE relationship has come a long way since then, and IIGM has expanded its reach into various new Industrial and Commercial Segment in India.
IIGM has worked hard to reach the milestone of 1000 successful installations of EAE bus bars in India in the year 2015. Big Brands names, such as, Maruthi Suzuki, TCS, Prestige Estates, Brigade Developers, Embassy Group, Oberoi Reality, Pennisula Developers, NetMagic, Apollo Hospitals, Shahi Exports, Arvind Mills, Bombay Rayon, Page Industries and many more use EAE products exclusively for energizing their operations and projects in India.
