IIGM Apparel Engineering Center is a professional institute located at Bommasandra Industrial Area, Bangalore, just 15 k.m from the heart of the city. The campus covers an area of 3 acres in lush gardens giving an ideal ambience for students to concentrate and apply themselves to the subjects offered. IIGM also runs an Apparel Engineering Center in Delhi.

We are now, pleased to inform you that IIGM training Centre is taking on a new look after completing a decade of successfully training over 1,000 technical engineers.

IIGM Apparel Engineering Center is now a much bigger facility and offers a variety of programmes for all disiplines and experience levels of garments machinery technicians. Starting from basic industrial sewing machine mechanical course to advanced electronics, pneumatics and seam engineering available for the complete spectrum. Overseas trained professional faculty with wide experience conduct these programmes to provide in-depth knowledge of sewing machine repair and refined machine mechanic techinques and work shops to handle the latest industry requirements of sophisticated technoloy. Visiting faculty both within India and abroad offer useful technical information for the future requirements for the apparel industry.

Students from IIGM apparel engineering Centre are placed almost immediately in prestigious garment firms all over India. The almuni of the institute are now placed at senior positions across the spectrum of the industry, both in India and abroad.

The curriculum for the training programmes are based on current teaching methods and content from prestigious training centers in Japan, U.S.A and West Germany. The training Centre awards certification, absed on performance, at the end of each programme.
