Special Features

The Apparel Engineering Center is equipped with well spaced laboratory with working trolleys for each machine.
It is also equipped with seperate theoretical class rooms with good lighting and drawing board facilities
Different laboratories for different courses like basic course, advanced machine course, electronic and pneumatic course, knits machine course, cutting room equipments, seam engineering and fusing techniques courses.
Each labarotry is equipped with special tools to assemble and disassemble the machineries
The institute is equipped a library facility
Students are provided with course material, instruction books and theoretical notes to refer and solve the problems of machines easily
The institute also provides seminars on special subjects related to garments from a foreign (principal) technicians and garment experts
During the course, faculty will take students to different garment factories to get overall idea about garment factory working system and also provides knowledge about installation of machineries
Students are issued a certificate and IIGM Apparel Engineering Center take care in appointing them at reputed garment factories on successful completion of the training
Hostel facility will be provided for outstation students, including self cooking provision
Recreational activities including music system, television, games, etc., for hostel students during lesiure time.
